When it is time to wash the custom heat-pressed clothing, turn the garment inside out before it is washed to prevent extra rubbing or friction on the design
It is also a good idea to wash the item in cold water on a delicate cycle.
When drying, it is obligatory to dry it on a low heat cycle, or better yet, have it hang dry.
It's helpful to avoid harsh, corrosive cleaning detergents.
You shouldn't bleach the clothing because that can mess up the design, as well as the color of the shirt itself.
Naturally, it is helpful to avoid getting stubborn stains in the garment in the first place, but if it does happen, try to remove the stain before it has time to set.
What is heat transfer method?
Heat transfer method makes use of heat transfers, digital cut-outs made from flocking foil or vinyl (with special finishes, such as glitter, reflective taping or glow-in-the-dark printing. The high temperature heat press bonds the heat transfer or die-cut to the t-shirt fibers.
Once transferred, the image appears to be embossed.
The heat transfer method is often compared to the direct-to-garment printing method, which is referred to as DTG printing. Although, a costly investment, DTG's main advantage is that the graphic will not appear stiff, and an unlimited amount of color can appear within the image.
Which is better silkscreen or heat press?
Quality wise, they're pretty equal. A silk screen that is done correctly will last quite a while. Heat press printing is basically the same as silk screening.
What type of shirt washes best with custom-printed heat-pressed t-shirts?
It is best to use cotton/polyster (50/50) shirts because they do not fray in the wash and they do not hold excessive moisture, such as 100% cotton does. If shirt is 100% cotton, it will have the tendency to absorb excessive moisture, thus will lead to bleeding problems.
What is polyester?
Polyester is a popular synthetic fabric, which are known to be very strong and durable. It is also known for it's unique ability to keep it's shape when creased, and it resists wrinkling.
Polyester is also a very versatile fabric. It is often blended with cotton to hep resist wrinkling and to increase durability.
In addition, polyester is easy to wash and very quick to dry. There is minimal care required with polyester giving it the desired wash-and-wear characteristic. This is one of the main reasons why it is used for wicking t-shirts and high-performacne apparel.
Polyester is a more breathable and comfortable fabric.
What about print locations and print sizes?
We can print in many of the standard location for garments -- front center, front left chest, back center, back neckline, as well as many locations, such as sleeve prints, side and back prints and even custom locations based on your design. Our maximum print size is A4 size.
Is there a minimum order size?
For heat pressed t-shirts, there is no minimum order size.
For screen printing, a minimum order of 100 pieces per design per garmet color shade is required. Price may depend on how many colors you want to have with your design.
