We offer a very competitive service with an average turnaround time of 24-48 hours, dependent upon volume, and will return completed work normally by email or by file transfer. 

 

The time taken in transcribing depends on a number of factors.  We find that generally a good practical guide is three times the length of the audio.  Thus a twenty minute clearly recorded tape will take approximately one hour to transcribe.  However, transcriptions of one-to-one interviews normally take four/five times the length of the audio and focus group interviews approximately six to eight times.
